In this assignment I had to learn how to use my tools in editing a photo. So first I took a portrait picture of myself and uploaded it to photoshop. then we had to edit it into a canvas 4X the size of the picture an we copied and pasted it 4 times into each corner of the canvas and altered the color.
Popart = my portrait
IN the end I learned how to edit a picture in adobe photoshop and I am sure it will come in handy.

Aperture & Shutter
In this assiment I tried show off how shutter and aperture can change a picture and how it looks. I also wanted to get thee pictures so that there was a visible difference in order o do that I would have to tack the same picture multiple times. And so I did.
Shutter = water fountain.
Aperture = the two people standing in the hallway.
In this assignment I learned how to use aperture and shutter to improve my picture and help me understand the technical side of photograph. I learned that aperture is measured in f-numbers and helps me blur out a background and help the person who views the picture will focus on the foreground and not the background. I also learned that shutter is measured in fractions of a second and helps me take pictures of objects in motion and helps me so they blur or don’t blur by altering the exposure time.

composition assignment
In this assignment I was taught how to take a good photo by learning about the composition of a good photo. The composition of a good photo is when pattern, lines, rule of thirds, texture, symmetry, depth of field, perspective, color, framing, space, and finally balance. below are some of my pictures that show off this parts of a good picture.
pattern = brick wall
lines = carpet
rule of thirds = tree in a field
texture = stone wall
symmetry = balcony of main hallway
depth of field = my cat coby
perspective =the plant in the library
color = my shoe on a tile floor
framing = the lock on a locker
space = the American flag against a wall
balance = two plants and a tissue box

I learned how to take a good picture by looking for the composition of a good picture. so that means that if I want to have have pleasing photo that means it needs to have one or more of the following compositions of a photo. It needs to have pattern, lines, rule of thirds, texture, symmetry, depth of field, perspective, color, framing, space, or balance and it will make a ok picture vary pleasing.
